An Experienced Workers’ Compensation Medical Provider

Workers’ Compensation Hotline 314-336-2566

CASE MANAGERS AND ADJUSTORS: Dr. Gross has significant experience in the workers’ compensation arena and is available to provide immediate appointments for evaluation and treatment, independent medical evaluations, as well as second opinions.   He provides excellent clinical outcomes and is prepared to handle low to high risk patients. Dr. Gross knows the language of the law and provides logical, evidence based opinions without bias. He and his staff are prompt, accessible, friendly and are sensitive to the special needs of patients injured while at work. They maintain close communication and coordination of care with the case managers and/or adjustors. Work Status Reports are faxed immediately after the patient is examined, and accompanied by timely dictation turnaround. Dr. Gross uses the same philosophy with workers as with athletes — “Get them back to work or play as quickly and as safely as possible.” We have established a workers’ compensation hotline that provides immediate access to the office for appointments or questions.

ILLNOIS WORKERS’ COMPENSATION: Dr. Gross recently earned his certification with the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians to provide AMA Guides Sixth Edition Impairment Ratings for Illinois Workers’ compensation cases. This required months of preparation and studying and was a full day of testing.

PATIENTS: If you have been injured at work and have been sent to our office by your employer or work compensation adjustor/case manager, Dr. Gross is very experienced in workers’ compensation injuries and is here to help you and to get you back on your feet and to work as quickly as possible. Dr. Gross will provide a thorough examination. He is required to advise what work you are capable of depending on your injury or condition. Our office is aware that the work you are capable of may not necessarily be an option at your place of employment. Never-the-less we still must list it on your Return to Work statement and your employer will advise as to whether or not they can accommodate these restrictions. Please keep in mind that workers’ compensation patients are not allowed to schedule or reschedule their own appointments. All scheduling must go through the workers’ compensation adjustor/case manager. If you do not know who this is feel free to contact our office and we can give you that information.
